An advance was revealed for DanMachi's new OVA

Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the light novels Dungeon ni Deai or Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka (DanMachi) a new promotional video was revealed for the new OVA of the franchise which will be released on January 29, 2020 .


This new release was announced a few weeks ago along with the third season for the series which will be released during the summer of 2020.
The J.C. Staff studio was in charge of the first two animated seasons of the light novel Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka - DanMachi, written by Fujino Ōmori with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda.

The spinoff novel Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Gaiden: Sword Oratoria by Fujino Ōmori and the illustrator Kiyotaka Haimura was adapted to the anime and premiered in April 2017.

The movie Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka: Orion no Already premiered in Japan on February 15 this year.



Synopsis


Life in the city of Orario is never boring, especially for Bell Cranel, a naive young man who hopes to become the greatest adventurer on earth. After a casual encounter with the goddess, Hestia, her dreams become a little closer to reality. With his support, Bell embarks on a fantastic search in the catacombs full of monsters in the city, known as "Dungeon." Death lurks in every corner of the cavernous depths of this terrifying maze.

Even on the surface, survival is a privilege earned with effort. In fact, nothing is certain in a world where gods and humans live and work together, especially when they often struggle to get along. However, one thing is certain: a number of mistakes, triumphs and friendships await the intrepidly optimistic protagonist of this Herculean tale.
